BMW E21 Mechanical Lead Odometer Gear

There are 3 different sizes for the odometer lead gear.

The best way to check the gear is to make sure it is tight on the shaft, it should not spin.

All you need to do is measure the overall thickness before you order a new gear. The most common thickness for this model is 4.8mm.

1. ~3.2mm
2. ~4.8mm
3. ~6.4mm
